Rover Roadie on Queen of Mountains

MY FIRST TRAVEL BLOG

How about buying a new Phone just before travelling, yeah that's what I did , I had to I couldn't capture the Queen of Hills on a random phone. After all it was the most awaited trip. Travelling to the most romantic and beautiful destination of India which itself prove to be a queen "Mussoorie"

Just a month back I was above the clouds. No, not in imagination but in real life. I could literally feel ,"aaj me upar aasman neeche".
2006 m above the ground , the most calm, divine, serene place I have ever visited. Although before reaching to the equanimity state, I also faced  an almost 2 hours horrible road show.

It was almost 12am at night, we started from Dehradun to Mussoorie after having a cup of tea which is mandatory for me and my family. The twists and turns of the roads were scaring  all of us and the heavy rain was the cherry on top. Rains  are usual there you see, because of the greenery and amazing environment.

The one driving was expert and was giving us a roller coaster ride for free that night. My dad sitting next to the driving seat was chanting names of gods of almost all religion , well he's a brave man but it was obvious to get panic stricken due to the curvy roads, the scary night, the horrible driver, and the deluge kind of rains!!
By god's grace and the driver's mercy we reached our hotel and checked in at 2am.

The next morning scene made us forget everything and filled our mind and soul with intense purity of nature. The clouds were moving, the slight rain, the trees, the fog, sounds of birds chirping, the icy cold and frosty weather took away the entire tiredness of our body and mind.I never knew we have such a peaceful place in the world.
I was proud of my decision of buying a new Phone for this trip it was worth it!!

We then visited the places  in Mussoorie back-to-back for the next three days. Gun Hill point, kempty fall, Mall Road, Mussoorie Lake, Camels Back Road almost everywhere, although I fear the valley travelling along beside the roads  with me but the peace and relaxation I got from the trip was much more above the dangerous and risky roads just like I was above the clouds.

It was a lifetime experience I had. Not  only I collected memories but also learnt to have patience like the people of the"pahadi" region had. The amount of hard work they do in their day to day life because of the hilly region and transportation issues is extremely appreciable also I realised that I am such an amazing photographer.

Just before checking out I ordered the "pahadi"  maggie of the "garhwali" region and while eating it I scrolled down my phone's Gallery which was filled with more than thousand pictures of the Queen of Hills and its beauty. This was the most beautiful and everlasting memorable trip of my life. Mussoorie gave me million memories and my next few display pictures as well.
